Happy Anniversary Marriott - 85 Years



It all began on May 20th, 1927 when newlyweds J. Williard and Alice Marriott opened a
9-stool root beer stand in Washington, DC. 

85 years on, and we now have over 3,600 hotels in 71 countries and are expanding all the time.

OK, so the day was a little wetter and a tad more windswept than we all would have liked, but we did host the UK's first official beach wedding and the bride and groom had a lovely day.
